This is based on your project scope and includes many variables. Our professional rates are based on a specific percentage of the total cost of the project, we use an estimated cost per ft2 or m2, per project.
Some of the variables we consider in our fees include: your end goal, location, topography, materials, finishes and fixtures, and the kind of design you would like. An average cost of construction per square foot is $140 and up, this varies by project size and location and the previous variables described above. -
Our basic fees include Preliminary Studies, Schematic Design and the Construction core Documents: architectural, electrical, mechanical and structural to get the basic CR permits to break ground here.. Additionally, the needed professional inspections from the architect and engineers during the construction process time, from conception to completion of your project, will be quoted when the time comes. The price depends on the location and size of the project. Inspections guarantee our work is executed properly, soundly, and safely throughout the construction process. We will be there at every step of the process representing and supervising your best interest.

We customize based on what you prefer while recommending best-in-class materials that provide durability, safety, and high-design aesthetics, keeping at the forefront our tropical environmental considerations and sustainability principles. We realize that every site and project has different needs we will properly respond to such. Design strategies, structure, and materials will be selected based on an analysis of the characteristics of all the natural and raw elements we are presented with along with your personal and family needs.
Please note that we are committed to using locally sourced and sustainable materials, as much as possible. This is inclusive of most Costa Rican native woods, bamboo, rock, waddle and daub, thatch, clay roofs and flooring. When the time comes we will make the suggestions that we think would best work for your design so you can choose guidance based on the pros and cons of each, the life cycle, maintenance and cost. We will also use concrete and cast iron as needed, we won’t compromise safety, there are earthquakes in CR and the law is very strict about the guidelines to follow when designing structures.
